Stephen Waguespack from the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry joined the show today to recap the elections on Saturday. Stephen and Brian talk about all of the amendments that were voted on during election day and how only 1 major one actually passed. He and Brian then discuss the runoff in the Governor’s race between incumbent John Bel Edwards and Republican challenger Eddie Rispone. LABI endorsed both Eddie Rispone and Ralph Abraham but now that it is down to Rispone and Edwards, LABI is strongly supporting Eddie Rispone. Waguespack explains why Governor Edwards failed to win the election outright and why he believes Eddie Rispone has a good chance of winning. Stephen also broke down a lot of the legislative races that occurred and some other the other down ballot races.
