BATON ROUGE, La. – North PAC, a political action committee of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), announced its endorsement of Justice Jay McCallum in his candidacy for re-election to his Supreme Court District 4 seat on May 16, 2026.

“Justice Jay McCallum has ably served the people of Louisiana as a state Supreme Court justice for the last five years,” said Terry Baugh, chair of North PAC. “Justice McCallum’s more than 20 years of legal experience and performance as a judge for Louisiana’s Third Judicial District Court, then Second Circuit Court of Appeal judge, and most recently as a Supreme Court justice demonstrates a proven track record of his ability to be fair-minded in deliberating cases that profoundly impact Louisiana and its citizens.”

“We encourage the business community to support Justice McCallum for re-election this fall,” Jim Patterson, Interim Executive Director of Political Action for LABI said. “The business community must support candidates who will be conscientious jurists and apply the law in a fair and balanced manner. Justice McCallum has an extensive history of rulings that display his intellectual leadership on the bench. We are proud to support such a qualified justice for re-election to our highest court.”
North PAC is made up of businessmen and businesswomen seeking to support electable candidates who embrace free-market principles and stand ready to implement real reforms to grow Louisiana’s economy and keep our families here.
