LABI Names Jordan Riggs Political Director to Lead Election and PAC Efforts

October 19, 2026

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) has hired Jordan Riggs as Political Director, strengthening the organization’s election and political action committee (PAC) operation as Louisiana approaches its next election cycle.

In this role, Riggs will lead LABI’s political and PAC efforts statewide, working with candidates, elected officials and LABI members to support leaders committed to growing Louisiana’s economy. He will guide LABI’s engagement in legislative, statewide and local races and oversee LABI’s four regional PACs: NorthPAC, SouthPAC, EastPAC and WestPAC.

“Louisiana has seen what’s possible when the right elected leaders are in place and committed to free enterprise policies that strengthen our economy and improve our business climate,” said LABI President and CEO Will Green. “Building on that progress is critical to advancing the priorities of our members and Louisiana’s business community to ultimately benefit communities across the state.

“Jordan brings valuable campaign experience, a deep understanding of Louisiana politics and the strategic perspective we need to support candidates who champion free enterprise. We’re excited to have him on the team as we work alongside our members to continue the effort of moving Louisiana forward.”

Riggs brings more than a decade of experience in political campaigns, public affairs and strategic communications. Most recently, he served as a Digital and Public Affairs Strategist for a New York-based public affairs firm, supporting high-profile advocacy and public affairs campaigns. He previously served as Digital Director for former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s presidential campaign and for former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s political and advocacy organizations.

He also worked on congressional, gubernatorial, statewide and legislative races in Louisiana, giving him firsthand knowledge of the state’s political landscape and the issues facing its business community.

“Growing up as the son of a Louisiana entrepreneur, I saw how much the people we elect matter to the businesses that keep this state running,” said Riggs. “Heading into the critical 2027 cycle, I’m excited to partner with our members to recruit, support and elect candidates who will build on the progress Louisiana has made in strengthening our business climate and create more opportunity for employers and workers across the state.”

LABI’s four PACs give the business community a voice in supporting candidates at the local, regional and statewide levels who champion free enterprise, helping elect leaders who understand how a strong business climate creates jobs, attracts investment and expands economic opportunity across Louisiana.

Riggs is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he concentrated in political communications. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Lauren, and their family.
