LABI Announces 2025 Board of Directors, Emerging Leaders Council Members

February 24, 2025

BATON ROUGE, La. – Following last week’s Annual Meeting, the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) announced its officers and Board of Directors for 2025, along with the members of the 2025 LABI Emerging Leaders Council (ELC). The ELC is a diverse group of young professionals and entrepreneurs from across Louisiana committed to driving positive change in their communities and improving the state’s business climate.

“Louisiana stands at a pivotal moment,” said LABI President and CEO Will Green. “Momentum is building, and we have an opportunity as the state’s chief business advocate to cement Louisiana’s path to a more prosperous future. Together, with this capable, experienced group of leaders, we can continue our drive for meaningful change and innovation for the betterment of our communities and the state as a whole.”

Tom Cox, Founder and Executive Chairman of Golfballs.com, will serve as the chair of LABI’s Board of Directors for 2025. A two-decade LABI member, Cox succeeds Jason DeCuir, a co-owner and partner at Advantous Consulting, LLC, who now becomes immediate past chair. Scott Ballard, founder of Ballard Brands will serve as vice chair, MARTCO, LLC President and CEO Scott Poole will serve as secretary and Eric Danos, owner of Danos, LLC, will serve as treasurer.

“LABI is more than an organization, it is a force for positive change,” said Cox. “The entire team works every day to create a stronger, more competitive business climate.
