The LABI Center for Free Enterprise is located at 500 Main Street, just blocks away from the State Capitol and walking distance to downtown hotels, restaurants, and attractions. Built in the 1880s, the Center boasts unique architectural elements including a variety of historic pieces that provide warmth and character to the venue. The building underwent an extensive historical renovation in 2019 to create a multifunctional meeting space with state-of-the-art audio visual capabilities along with a stunning outdoor entertaining area.
Rooms
The Lane Grigsby Conference Center
The Lane Grigsby Conference Center offers an array of flexible spaces allowing the area to accommodate seminars, conduct employee retreats, or host receptions for groups of 10-350 people. This 2,500-square-foot multifunctional event space was designed to facilitate collaboration and maximize creativity and flexibility.
The space offers the following services and amenities to ensure a successful and well-planned event:

- State-of-the-art audio visual equipment and dedicated on-site support technical staff
- Videoconference capability
- Two chat rooms

Performance Contractors Meeting Room
The Performance Contractors Meeting Room is an elegant board room designed for smaller group meetings (seats up to 12 people.) The meeting space offers video conferencing, electric shade control, and complimentary PJ’s coffee.
Danos Outdoor Event Space
The Danos Outdoor Event Space is an alluring courtyard with an outdoor kitchen equipped with Viking appliances, a world class “Upfit” canopy and Audio/Video capabilities. It is the perfect space for happy hours, networking events, and receptions.
AT&T Louisiana Board Room
Located on the second floor, The AT&T Louisiana Board Room is a larger, more private space, seating up to 16 people. This sophisticated board room is equipped with videoconference capability, wireless and screen sharing and whiteboards, electric shade control, acoustic sound panels, and complimentary PJ’s coffee.
Lamar Advertising Recording Studio
The Lamar Advertising Recording Studio boasts full audio recording capabilities, sound mixing and music overlay for podcasts and recordings, full video recording capabilities including green screen, and state of the art soundproofing and noise reduction to ensure top quality audio and video.
Ochsner Wellness Room
The Ochsner Wellness Room offers a virtual wellness center for urgent care visits and free same-day prescription delivery.
DOW Meeting Room
The DOW Meeting Room is a private meeting space accommodating up to four people with acoustic panels for sound control.

Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.

Lecture
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion because chairs can be moved.
Capacity: 150
Banquet
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
