BATON ROUGE, LA (March 12, 2020) – With the Coronavirus causing concern both nationally and within the state, LABI is sharing resources with our members in order to aid Louisiana's business community in their response.
Note: At this time, all LABI events and meetings will continue as planned. The Louisiana Legislature has also not announced plans to alter the regular session schedule, so we will remain engaged at the State Capitol and keep you updated.

Information From the Louisiana Department of Health
With 14 presumptive positive cases confirmed across five parishes (Caddo, Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans and St. Tammany) the Louisiana Department of Health has resources available for the business community.

U.S. Small Business Association To Ramp Up Disaster Loans
President Donald Trump announced additional funding for small businesses directly affected by the Coronavirus. The U.S. Small Business Association will be offering low-interest federal loans for working capital, pending requests from state governors, to help alleviate economic injury caused by COVID-19.
