As LABI’s Legislative Assistant, Abigail works closely with the policy team assisting with research, scheduling, organization of lobbying activities, and events.

Originally from Slidell, Louisiana, Abigail holds an undergraduate degree in Political Communication from Louisiana State University, which she completed in the spring of 2021. Abigail had her first experience with politics while working in Senator Bill Cassidy’s regional office. The following semester, Abigail joined AARP’s Louisiana team as the advocacy & communications intern where she learned about Louisiana’s policy and advocacy process. After 8 months with AARP Abigail joined the policy team at Capitol Partners firm in Baton Rouge. Throughout her education and career, Abigail has had hands-on experience in lobbying, grassroots organization, coalition building, and implementing communications plans.
